We just got back from the Demo Day hosted by Plume Network and Superscrypt on September 20th in Singapore, and it was an absolute blast!

The event was all about showcasing some of the brightest minds in the Real World Asset Finance (RWAfi) space. Startups and entrepreneurs had the unique opportunity to pitch their projects in front of top venture capitalists, RWAfi investors, and industry leaders.

And the Winner Is… Projective! 🏆

Projective walked away with a $25,000 grant! While details about their venture are still under wraps, it’s clear that they’re set to make big waves in the RWAfi space by bringing over $100M+ of solar assets onchain with Plume’s composable and modular RWA tech. .

“Winning this grant is a huge milestone for us,” said the Projective team. “We’re excited to use this opportunity to tokenize clean energy like solar in the RWAfi ecosystem.”

Highlights from the Event

The day kicked off with a warm welcome from the Plume Network team, followed by introductions of the judges. Then came the main event: the pitches!

Each team had a 5-minute window to showcase their projects, and they definitely brought their A-game.

Here’s a quick rundown of the awesome projects we saw:

• Cultured: The first perpetual DEX that lets users trade based on social sentiment like pop culture and politics.
• Curio: A platform for trading collectible card packs.
• KixMafia: An on-chain sneaker marketplace revolutionizing how we buy and sell kicks.
• PumpKing: A platform for launching meme coins — because who doesn’t love a good meme?
• Medex: Facilitating investment and trading of Medicaid claims for yield.
• Silver Koi: The first equities perpetuals protocol with up to 200x leverage, allowing users to long or short US assets from stocks to crypto.
• RealtyX: A platform where the community learns and manages real world assets through DAOs.
• Zona: Offering tokenized real estate price trading with up to 50x leverage.

Each project was unique and showcased incredible innovation. The competition was stiff, but Projective’s vision and potential impact gave them the edge.

Why Demo Day Rocked

Aside from the thrilling pitches, the event was a fantastic networking opportunity. Founders mingled with investors, shared ideas, and formed connections within the RWAfi space. The atmosphere was friendly and collaborative, exactly what you’d be looking for in communities.

For the projects, it was about getting invaluable feedback, building relationships, and gaining exposure in the RWAfi landscape.
